The Technologies to Advance your Business course fromt he Council of Residential Specialists will help you get a handle on technology and tools that work for you and your business.

• Learn about technologies that streamline the way you handle contacts & follow up systems.
• Access the technologies that make sense for you and your business so you don’t waste money on gimmicks.
• Marketing yourself via web sites, blogs and other communication tools to attract, keep and close the internet bueyr.
• Create effective multimedia technologies and develop enhanced listing and buyer presentations.

This summer RAR will offer 16 hours of continuing education required for license renewal in a series of evening classes. Mix and match one or more 4-hour modules to fulfill specific hours or take all four parts to completely satisfy elective and mandatory subject hours.

Classes will be held at RAR on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

The Finance Puzzle: Matching Loan Programs to Buyer/Borrowers

Financing is essential for most home purchases and choosing the right loan program for your buyer clients can be very challenging. Credit scores, cash on hand, seller concessions, and the wide variety of loan types make it difficult to select and compare programs. In this finance workshop, Jim Cain, with SunTrust Mortgage, will walk you through the qualification process from the lender’s perspective. You will learn how to accurately compare the features of today’s loan products, choose the right lender, understand risk based pricing and improve your closing rate by matching your buyer to a loan program that fits their qualifications and the property they wish to purchase.

To earn your VA Broker’s license, you will need to:

Successfully complete 45-hour courses in Broker Appraisal, Broker Finance, Broker Law and Broker Management.*

*Course substitutions are available; however, all broker candidates must complete Broker Management.

Have been actively practicing as real estate salesperson for 36 of the last 48 months prior to applying to sit for the exam.

We offer the four brokerage class as classroom courses.
